Florida Children's Health Insurance & Educational Programs

Dental Coverage:
The state of Florida provides dental services to low income and special needs children from birth to 18 years of age under the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), which is called KidCare.

KidCare includes four programs:
Medicaid, Healthy Kids, MediKids and Children’s Medical Services.

Head Start

Dental Coverage:
The Head Start program provides clinical and education programs for eligible children from birth to five years old. Head Start consists of two main programs: Early Head Start (birth to three years old) and Pre-School Head Start (three to five years old). Every Florida county has a Head Start program.
